Rachel's sixth grade class all had to dress up as Egyptians, so she really felt her hands were tied creativity wise. She decided to add her own stamp by being a dead-goth-mummy-Egyptian. (This involved a lot of black make-up, a fake nose and lip piercing, gauze wrapped around her arms, and a black wig.) I never thought I would say this , but I sort of miss the pretty pretty princess years! Ben and Brig were so much fun as Mario and Luigi. Brig was determined that he wasn't going to be Luigi, but we talked him into it at the last minute, and I think he had a good time. Jake is Mr. Incredible and Dash. He decided that he wanted to be a Jedi on Halloween morning, so he carried his light saber around with him all day. All in all a pretty fun year. I dressed up as Flo (the Progressive Insurance lady) to answer the door. Paul was going to be Dr. Doofenshmirtz, but we couldn't find his old lab jacket--oh, well, he can work on his evil scheme for next year!
